Skate parks combine speed, height and hard surfaces, which makes surface condition a genuine safety factor rather than a cosmetic one. A lifted edge of coping, a delaminating ramp face or a corroded guardrail fixing is exactly the kind of defect that causes serious injury — and exactly what a documented operational inspection is there to catch.

Do you inspect timber and steel ramps as well as concrete?
Yes — each construction type has its own failure modes. Timber delaminates and rots from the underside, steel corrodes at fixings and seams (fast, near the coast), and concrete spalls and cracks at transitions. The inspection is matched to what your park is built from.
