Based in mid-Cornwall

Areas we cover

The whole of Cornwall, worked as scheduled rounds rather than one-off call-outs — which keeps costs down and response times short.

We're based near St Austell, roughly in the middle of the county, which is deliberate. It means no part of Cornwall is a long haul, and it lets us run scheduled rounds by area rather than charging call-out rates to drive somewhere once.

In practice that matters most to two groups: parish councils, who share a visit day with neighbouring parishes and share the saving; and holiday parks, who need someone who can actually turn up in August when something breaks, rather than waiting for a national provider's next sweep through the south west.

Across the county

Mid Cornwall

St Austell, Bodmin, Newquay, Roche, St Dennis, Lostwithiel, Fowey and the Clay Country parishes. Our home patch — usually same-week availability, and the area where multi-parish rounds work best.

West Cornwall

Truro, Falmouth, Penryn, Camborne, Redruth, Hayle, Helston, St Ives, Penzance and the Lizard. Heavy coastal exposure here, so corrosion and surfacing wear tend to run ahead of inland sites.

North Cornwall

Wadebridge, Padstow, Camelford, Bude, Tintagel, St Columb and the north coast parishes. Holiday park density is high along this stretch, so pre-season rounds get booked early.

South east Cornwall

Liskeard, Looe, Torpoint, Saltash, Callington and the Rame Peninsula. A mix of parish play areas and coastal holiday parks, plus the schools serving the Plymouth commuter villages.

The Tamar border

Launceston, Saltash, Torpoint and sites immediately over the border where geography makes it sensible. Further into Devon we'd rather refer you on than promise a response time we can't hold.

Multi-site operators

Park groups and councils with sites spread across the county are scheduled as one programme, with the visits sequenced geographically and reported in a single consistent format.

What "covering Cornwall" actually means

  • Fixed quotes with travel included — no call-out charges added after the fact
  • Scheduled rounds by area, so neighbouring sites share a visit day and the saving
  • The same inspector every visit, watching your equipment age rather than seeing it cold
  • Genuine emergency response — an hour or so to most of the county, not next week
  • Honest about our limits — if you're better served by someone closer, we'll say so

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you charge extra for travel across Cornwall?

No. Quotes are fixed in writing before any visit, with travel included. We group nearby sites into a single visit day, which is how we keep the cost per site down for parishes and multi-site park operators.

How far east do you go?

The whole of Cornwall, plus sites immediately over the Tamar around Launceston, Saltash and Torpoint where it makes sense geographically. Beyond that we would rather point you to someone closer than pretend we can give you a proper response time.

How quickly can you get to a site?

For a scheduled inspection, we book you into the next round for your area. For something urgent — storm damage, a failed item that has had to be taped off — being based in mid-Cornwall means most of the county is inside an hour or so, and we will tell you honestly when we can be there.

Do you cover the Isles of Scilly?

Not on a routine round, but we are happy to discuss it. Scheduling and transport make it a different proposition from mainland work, so it would be quoted separately.

Need an inspection or a repair?

Tell us the site and what's on it — written quote back the same working day.
